A replica cabin, built on the same spot as the original, is being torn down by a homeowners association. The cabin represents the home where the mother of Abraham Lincoln was born and is need of repairs. The homeowner association where the cabin is located, cannot afford the upkeep and said that their agreement with the historical society has expired and they are preparing to take it down.
